| David's role in the Army was in demolition. He was stationed in the Home Front Command and part of his duties was to patrol the Jordanian border in our area, the Green Line, for infiltrators. The soldiers laughingly called themselves the "Helm Patrol" after Shalom Aleichem's "The Wise Men of Helm". Ori sent him a letter to the reserves. |
